The Beginning of Festivities

A bit late in posting, but I’ve finished my own Snawheid. Not in time for the turkey trot on Thanksgiving, but it wasn’t too much later.

I have been wearing it on my daily walks, it’s perfectly warm! The pattern was a delight, quick and fun. I’m really trying not to knit several more…

Christmas is coming quickly and I’m looking forward to wearing it around as I finish up last-minute shopping and attend get-togethers.

Getting Ready

Tomorrow is the annual Turkey Trot, which I’ll be participating in for the first time. We’re to walk a three-mile loop on Thanksgiving morning before heading off to the festivities. I’m currently knitting a new holiday hat and hoping to have it done by tomorrow to warm my heid whilst walking.

Isn’t it delightfully festive? I absolutely love the wee snowflakes parading their way ’round the hat. I went on a stash dive and came up with these two colours, which I feel go together quite well.

My Ishbel was finished a few days ago, though due to lack of yarn I had to refrain from knitting the edging. But I’m consoling myself with the fact that I’m sure this won’t be my last Ishbel.
